If we say to China, we are going to give you a tariff or tax on your electronics export, say from 10 %- 25%, China will turn around and charge more to us for the same item. So in fact tariffs come back to bite the American consumer.
So soybean imports to China were stopped because T said he’d put tariffs on China’s exports.
It came back on us…and decimated the farmers.
