Quite a video here.
Quite a video here.
Posting this video, though I have a severe problem with the underlying message throughout it that Pence is closested. I have never liked that as a smear; it’s one thing to have hard evidence of somebody being a hypocrite, but accusations against people like Pence and Graham of being gay without any real evidence always feels to me like denigrating somebody over perceived sexuality. “Looks” and “behavior” and blatant homophobia are not, in my book, evidence enough to warrant that. Stick to the bad things they’re doing, not supposition. If you have PROOF they’re being hypocritical, that’s another matter.

Agree with you…very underhanded and says more about the promoter of these assertions as someone who has to fully dismantle someone based on perceived negatives.
Even if he is, everyone should respect his wishes, it’s his life. With Pence I always bring up that fact before he ran for office he was just a talk radio show host. Even the Republican Party thought he was just ineffectual milquetoast muppet. After his first term as the Governor of Indiana, his own party was set to primary him before Trump selected him to run as Vice President.
Tune in on Tuesday, August 18 from 9-11 PM ET for the second night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention, where we’ll hear from all those who seek to unite and not divide.
More video roundup.

Lots of hot takes still floating around from night 2 of the convention. AOC was fine, she was there to second Bernie’s nomination and then people forgot that we do that every year with the runners up. Suddenly she snubs Biden? Nah, that’s just tradition, friends, we do that every national convention.
Role call was a hit. Watch here if you missed it
And Jill Biden! Love her!
Always petty, bullying and ridiculous…
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for a boycott of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co (GT.O), saying they had banned his red presidential campaign hats.
“Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS,” Trump said on Twitter.
Trump’s tweet follows a report carried on the website of an NBC affiliate in Wisconsin about a Goodyear training session in Ohio about political attire.
The intersection of misogyny and racism.
As suspected, this is why states and Dems turning up the heat is still important to fix what has been damaged.

Getting back the USPS into fully operational mode is going to be near impossible with DeJoy saying he is not going to replace the sorting machines. Rep Pelosi reacts.
San Francisco – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after speaking to Postmaster General DeJoy about his alleged pause in operational changes that are delaying the mail and threatening to disenfranchise voters:
“This morning, I spoke with Postmaster General DeJoy and conveyed to him that his announcement is not a solution and is misleading.
“The Postmaster General’s alleged pause is wholly insufficient and does not reverse damage already wreaked. The Postmaster General frankly admitted that he had no intention of replacing the sorting machines, blue mailboxes and other key mail infrastructure that have been removed and that plans for adequate overtime, which is critical for the timely delivery of mail, are not in the works. All of these changes directly jeopardize the election and disproportionately threaten to disenfranchise voters in communities of color. At the same time, we are highly concerned that the slowdown of the delivery of medicines to veterans is not being sufficiently addressed.
“We will deliver for America by voting on Saturday hopefully in a bipartisan way on Chairwoman Maloney’s ‘Delivering for America Act,’ providing $25 billion in support of the Postal Service as the USPS Board of Governors recommended, 100 percent appointed by Trump.
“The Postal Service is Election Central during the pandemic, and Democrats will not allow the President to force Americans to choose between their health and their vote.”
Press Secretary McEnany likes to stir it up and promote T’s thoughts…and keeps throwing out that the President may not accept the results of the election…
WTFery
Add to list
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany just had this exchange with a member of the media about President Trump’s ongoing attacks on the legitimacy of vote-by-mail:
REPORTER: Is the president saying if he doesn’t win this election, then he will not accept the results unless he wins?
McENANY: The president has always said he’ll see what happens and make a determination in the aftermath.
McEnany went on to claim that Trump wants “a free election, a fair election,” noted that extensive vote-by-mail might undermine public confidence in the results, and insisted that this is Trump’s real concern. McEnany somehow managed to make all those claims without doubling over in paroxysms of laughter.
This exchange on Wednesday afternoon came after another one in which a reporter asked McEnany about Trump’s recent claim that “the only way we’re going to lose this election is if the election is rigged.”
That reporter asked: “Does the president believe there is any circumstance under which he could lose the election fairly?” McEnany declined to answer, mumbling some nonsense about voter fraud and Trump’s towering popularity.
At risk of sounding overly earnest, can we just point out that all this is particularly heinous, coming from the White House press secretary at an official briefing of the White House press corps?
…
But they are off-the-cuff. In this case, a senior member of his administration delivered this message very deliberately, in obviously scripted remarks, to the body of journalists who are theoretically on site in The People’s House in order to hold the powerful to account on behalf of the American people, the people whose house it is supposed to be.
“There’s no more direct attack on democracy than saying you’re not going to respect the outcome of an election,” Noah Bookbinder, the executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, told me.
