TEXAS: Biden 47%, Trump 47%

PENNSYLVANIA: Biden 51%, Trump 43%

TEXAS SENATE: Cornyn 49%, Hegar 43%

In the home stretch of the 2020 presidential election campaign, former Vice President Joe Biden is in a tied race with President Donald Trump in the reliably red state of Texas, and he holds a single digit lead in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, according to Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pea-ack) University polls conducted in both states.

TEXAS PRESIDENTIAL RACE

Today, Trump and Biden are tied 47 - 47 percent among likely voters. This compares to a September 24th poll of likely voters in Texas when Trump had 50 percent and Biden had 45 percent.

Among those who will vote in person on Election Day, 62 percent support Trump and 32 percent support Biden.

Among those who are voting by mail or absentee ballot, 63 percent say they support Biden and 31 percent support Trump.

Among those who are voting at an early voting location, 48 percent support Biden and 46 percent support Trump.

“Biden and Trump find themselves in a Texas stand-off, setting the stage for a bare knuckle battle for 38 electoral votes,” said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.

Might over right…WTF

What is happening with people who feel you can just ‘bag’ someone because you don’t like them or want them put out of a race. Stirring up division does that, and calling for candidates to go to prison will send people to do things like that. Thanks Trump.

A man in Maryland has been arrested on charges that he threatened to kidnap and kill Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic presidential nominee, and his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, law enforcement officials said on Wednesday.

A criminal complaint filed by the Secret Service on Wednesday did not describe any steps taken by the man, identified as James Dale Reed, to carry out the alleged threat. It said that on Oct. 4, Mr. Reed approached a house in his hometown, Frederick, Md., northwest of Washington, that had Biden-Harris campaign signs in the yard and left a handwritten note that contained graphic threats against the candidates and their supporters.

The resident’s video doorbell had captured an image of the man who left the note, the complaint said.

We are the ones with these scary guns, we are the ones your children have nightmares about,” the note read in part. Mr. Reed, 42, was arrested last Friday and is being held without bond in Frederick County, Md., according to court records. A spokeswoman for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, which is representing Mr. Reed, declined to comment.

He provided a palm print and handwriting sample and acknowledged having written the letter, according to the complaint. He is charged with the federal offense of threatening a major candidate, which carries a penalty of up to five years in prison, and two violations of state law: threatening mass violence and voter intimidation.

The complaint said that Mr. Reed was known to law enforcement for making a complaint against a person under Secret Service protection in 2014.

House GOP wants to investigate Joe Biden’s use of chartered Amtrak train on campaign trail

In a letter to Amtrak CEO William Flynn, four Republican representatives argued that charter trains like the one Biden paid for to tour Rust Belt states are not part of Amtrak’s “primary objective” and floated the idea that Biden’s charter “redirected Amtrak’s scarce resources during a time of record losses, employee layoffs, and service cuts during the COVID-19 pandemic.” The letter did not provide evidence of these allegations.

68% of voters say "most members of Congress" do not deserve reelection

While senior Trump administration officials said this week that Iran has been actively interfering in the presidential election, many intelligence officials said they remained far more concerned about Russia, which in recent days has hacked into state and local computer networks in breaches that could allow Moscow broader access to American voting infrastructure.

The discovery of the hacks came as American intelligence agencies, infiltrating Russian networks themselves, have pieced together details of what they believe are Russia’s plans to interfere in the presidential race in its final days or immediately after the election on Nov. 3. Officials did not make clear what Russia planned to do, but they said its operations would be intended to help President Trump, potentially by exacerbating disputes around the results, especially if the race is too close to call.

There is no evidence that the Russians have changed any vote tallies or voter registration information, officials said. They added that the Russian-backed hackers had penetrated the computer networks without taking further action, as they did in 2016. But American officials expect that if the presidential race is not called on election night, Russian groups could use their knowledge of the local computer systems to deface websites, release nonpublic information or take similar steps that could sow chaos and doubts about the integrity of the results, according to American officials briefed on the intelligence.

Some U.S. intelligence officials view Russia’s intentions as more significant than the announcement Wednesday night by the director of national intelligence, John Ratcliffe, that Iran has been involved in the spreading of faked, threatening emails, which were made to appear as if they came from the Proud Boys, a right-wing extremist group.

Officials briefed on the intelligence said that Mr. Ratcliffe had accurately summarized the preliminary conclusion about Iran. But Tehran’s hackers may have accomplished that mission simply by assembling public information and then routing the threatening emails through Saudi Arabia, Estonia and other countries to hide their tracks. One official compared the Iranian action as single A baseball, while the Russians are major leaguers.

Voice of America reporter interprets the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency alert to what the hackers are doing. Looks like they got into some of our networks.

This arrest happened in May, in a plot to assassinate Joe Biden and inside the van AR-15’s and a lot of ammo. The man was from Washington State

WTF

A man was arrested in Kannapolis with a van full of guns and explosives with plans to carry out an act of terrorism, including trying to assassinate Joe Biden.

An order filed in federal court earlier this month outlines the plans by a man identified as Alexander Hillel Treisman, who also used the alias Alexander S. Theiss. Treisman is originally from the state of Washington, Kannapolis Police have said.

In the order, a federal magistrate judge outlined the reasons why Treisman should continue to be held in jail on child pornography charges.

Although, Treisman currently faces pornography charges, the order details a list of factors related to the defendant’s plans for a possible act of terror as grounds he should remain in custody.

According to the order, Treisman was arrested in late May, after employees at a bank in Kannapolis called police to investigate a white van that had been left in the parking lot.

“Through the windows, KPD officers observed an AR-15 style rifle, a box for a Taurus .380 handgun, a cannister of the explosive material Tannerite, and a box of 5.56 caliber ammunition,” the order said, referencing testimony from a FBI agent who investigated the case as part of the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

The order said a search of the van found “approximately $509,000 of U.S. currency (believed to be Defendant’s inheritance), books (about survival, bomb making, improved weapons and Islam), drawing of swastikas and planes crashing into buildings” and five more guns.

When Treisman was arrested, the order said, officers found drivers licenses from three different states. The order said agents also discovered he had purchased the various weapons in states across the country, including Washington, Kansas, New Hampshire and West Virginia.

The order said agents found child pornography on eight different electronic devices, along with other pictures and posts related to plans and ideas for possible terrorist acts, including the following:

A note created on October 15, 2019, found in Defendant’s Samsung S9 cell phone describing a plan to perform a mass shooting at a mall food court on Christmas or Black Friday;

Still images from video footage of the Christchurch, New Zealand mosque shooting that Defendant downloaded on March 21, 2020 and related internet searches;

A screenshot of the February 18, 2020 Reddit post by username AlextheBodacious referencing pedophilia and executing those he hates;

An internet post made by Defendant on February 22, 2020 referencing raping children and posting child porn;
An audio recording made on or about April 3, 2020 of Defendant narrating “the perfect porn video,” which describes Defendant killing two parents with a shotgun and then raping and impregnating their young daughter;
An April 8, 2020 internet post by AlextheBodacious stating that he was “going to do a columbine for a while, [but] I think it would better to put it towards something more memorable”;
An iFunny meme posted by Defendant on April 15, 2020 with the caption “should I kill joe biden?”;
A timeline of internet searches conducted by Defendant between March and May 2020 seeking information about Joe Biden’s home address, state gun laws, rifle parts, and night vision goggles, along with actions taken by Defendant, including posting the above mentioned meme about killing Joe Biden, purchasing an AR-15 in New Hampshire, traveling to a Wendy’s within 4 miles of Joe Biden’s home, and writing a checklist note ending with “execute”;

An April 20, 2020 video taken by Defendant’s cell phone while driving by Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas with audio of a male voice saying “There it is. That’s it. That’s the one, that’s where they did it. Allah Akbar! Ah hah, nice.”;

A video created on April 23, 2020 with Defendant’s cell phone at O’Hare International Airport with audio of a male voice suggesting that it would be “awesome” to hijack a plane and fly it into a building;

Images taken on or around April 26, 2020 at Range 56 shooting range at the Fort Bragg training area in North Carolina;

A description of and images from an electronic document entitled “A Guide to Mass Shooting” found on one of Defendant’s hard drives;

Drawings found in Defendant’s jail cell in August 2020 showing a stick figure labeled “me” beating a stick figure labeled “whoever the fuck calls the cops on a parked car” with a bat;

A handwritten “Autobiography” found in Defendant’s jail cell referencing mass shootings;

An image found on one of Defendant’s hard drives of a Polish passport that had been edited to bear Defendant’s face instead of the face of the original holder;

Images of Defendant’s current passport and a notation inside indicating that it is a replacement for a lost passport;
Audio from a May 29, 2020 jail call between Defendant and his mother,Kimberly Treisman, in which she suggests that Defendant should “jump bail”

The order said agents also found a picture of a rental agreement for an apartment in Canada and emails from Treisman to a Canadian immigration lawyer about moving to the country.

According to the order, a lawyer for Treisman asked an agent if he was aware that Treisman had been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. The court filing said agents asked Treisman if he had any mental health conditions and they were told he did not.

Given the evidence discovered by agents during their investigation, the judge ruled, the “that no combination of available release conditions would reasonably assure the safety of the community, and that a preponderance of evidence establishes that no conditions would ensure Defendant’s presence in court.”

Treisman has not been charged with any crime related to his possession of the guns or other evidence the agents found.
