1/ The Biden administration has not ruled out appealing a federal judge’s ruling that struck down a nationwide Covid-19 mask mandate on public transport. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the Justice Department will “take a couple of days” to decide whether or not to challenge the ruling. Following the ruling, TSA said it would stop enforcing mask mandates, as did most major U.S. airlines on domestic and some international flights. Biden, however, said Americans should decide for themselves whether to wear masks, saying the decision to mask is “up to them.” The CDC, meanwhile, continues to recommend that people wear masks on planes, trains, and other public transportation.
