Lindsey Graham vows to have whistleblowers testify publicly if Democrats impeach Trump

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., vowed to expose the anonymous whistleblowers against President Trump if Democrats move forward with impeachment; at the same time, he warned against Trump having China pursue an investigation of Joe Biden.

A second unidentified whistleblower was confirmed Sunday morning, reportedly with firsthand information to support some of the allegations another whistleblower made in a complaint filed in August regarding a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Graham said that if Democrats follow through on their desire to impeach Trump, he will make sure that the whistleblowers will have to come forward and testify.

Here’s what’s going to happen: if the whistleblowers’ allegations are turned into an impeachment article it’s imperative that the whistleblower be interviewed in public, under oath, and cross-examined,” Graham told Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” promising that “if that doesn’t happen in the House, I’ll make sure it happens in the Senate.”

Ecuador has gone heavily right-wing authoritarian, but we back them, so unlike Venezuela we ignore it when they do terrible things to their citizens, as seen in these eight posts.

A number of these posts have videos worth watching.

‘The drone revolution’: Ecuadorians revolt against repressive US-backed President Lenin Moreno’s neoliberal policies

Ecuador’s workers are rising up against the IMF-mandated neoliberal economic reforms of President Lenin Moreno, a close ally of Washington who calls them “zánganos,” or drone bees.

When Ohio released a list of people it planned to strike from its voting rolls, around 40,000 people shouldn’t have been on it. The state only found out because of volunteer sleuthing.

Trump’s ‘China Muse’ Has an Imaginary Friend

Who is Ron Vara? He only seems to exist in the books of Peter Navarro.

Ron Vara has strong opinions. He thinks you’ve “got to be nuts to eat Chinese food.” He doles out little scraps of wisdom, like “Don’t play checkers in a chess world.” Vara is a military veteran and Harvard-trained economist who made seven figures in the stock market by investing in companies that do well during international crises. His contrarian savvy earned him an ominous-sounding nickname: Dark Prince of Disaster.

Vara makes frequent cameos in the books of Peter Navarro, a White House adviser who is often referred to as Trump’s “China muse.” Before joining the White House, Navarro was a professor of economics and public policy at the University of California at Irvine and the author of books like Death by China: Confronting the Dragon — A Global Call to Action and The Coming China Wars: Where They Will Be Fought and How They Can Be Won (FT Press). He’s since become one of Trump’s most dogged defenders, telling CNN recently that “I am never disappointed in my president.”

Trump seems to have faith in Navarro, too. The Wall Street Journal reported in August that when the president decided to impose tariffs on China, the only adviser in favor of the plan was Navarro.

China scholars and fellow economists tend to be less enthused. Navarro doesn’t have a background in Chinese studies, doesn’t speak the language, and reportedly made his first trip to the country only last year. Justin Wolfers, a professor of public policy and economics at the University of Michigan, once wrote that Navarro “stands so far outside the mainstream that he endorses few of the key tenets of the profession.”

More from this insane man…:exploding_head:

More insane T administration people…:exploding_head:

Top Trump administration economic adviser Peter Navarro made up an economist he has quoted regularly in his books named Ron Vara, Tom Bartlett writes in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

“Those who know Navarro well, [Greg] Autry says, were fully aware that Ron Vara was a phony source who often popped up in his books. He said Vara was Navarro’s ‘alter ego,’ an ‘everyman character’ who dispenses cutesy business aphorisms as well as dire warnings about Chinese food.”

  • Ron Vara happens to be an anagram of Navarro’s last name.
  • That’s just one of many interesting details about the character who Navarro once wrote placed short bets against the stocks of 2 nuclear power-reliant companies literally 2 days before the worst nuclear disaster in human history at Chernobyl.

There’s more: Navarro similarly quoted Leslie LeBon when writing about the dangers of China, who a Google book search revealed is his wife.

I really want this to be fake.

But it really isn’t.

Addendum: somebody noticed this was dated the 9th. The day after Erdogan invaded. And I just learned he had copies handed out to everybody in his big meeting today. Proudly. Like a child showing off his bad macaroni art.

The part where Donnie thinks his betrayal of the Kurds, leading to mass murder & Russia taking over the region, is strategically brilliant isn’t the most horrifying part.

That would be where he AGAIN accuses the Kurds of PURPOSELY releasing ISIS.
