Disappointing that Rep Katie Hill resigned today, amid allegations she’d had an affair with a staffer. She was part of the big Blue State wave that swept the deeply red parts of California. Hill is getting out before what she is claiming is an ex-husband’s ‘revenge porn’ from her current divorce.

Avoiding awkward scenarios…Lerner family does NOT want to sit next to T during the 5th game of the World series.
A representative of the Lerner family, the principal owners of the Nationals, had a special request of the MLB last week: that they had no desire to be put in a position of turning down a request from the White House for President Trump to sit with Theodore Lerner, 94, the family patriarch, or any other member of the ownership group, a person familiar with the family’s thinking told WUSA9 on condition of anonymity.
That person made it clear that at no time was a direct request made that the President not be seated next to the Lerner family, but it was made clear that the family did not want to be put in the awkward position of having to respond to a request.

The president of the United States vowing to deny federal aid to a state facing a natural disaster for political reasons is both evil and impeachable.
“You don’t believe in climate change. You are excused from this conversation,” California Governor Gavin Newsom told Trump after the president made several erroneous claims about the causes of & potential solutions for the wildfires while writing that he had told Newsom previously to “clean” the forest floors, then insinuated that he would end federal aid to California for its wildfire response.

Trump posts mystery tweet of Iraqi rioters attacking Iranian consulate with no explanation. Then goes to bed. WTF?
So what is this? What are we supposed to think of this? What is the rest of the world supposed to think? Are we supposed to be cheering on the rioters or condemning them? What is the U.S. reaction? Is this a prelude to war? I mean really, really WTF? No wonder we have become the laughing stock of the world.

The whole world is asking the same question while Trump is snoring away in dreamland. He has no respect for his office, for his country, for the world.
Any ordinary president, any normal leader of any country on earth, would not have done this.
Right after this, he posted another tweet showing more violent rioters and it is written completely in Arabic so Americans can’t even understand what it says.

Nikki Haley claims top aides tried to recruit her to ‘save the country’ by undermining Trump
Two of President Trump’s senior advisers undermined and ignored him in what they claimed was an effort to “save the country,” former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley claims in a new memoir.
Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly sought to recruit her to work around and subvert Trump, but she refused, Haley writes in a new book, “With All Due Respect,” which also describes Tillerson as “exhausting” and imperious and Kelly as suspicious of her access to Trump.
“Kelly and Tillerson confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country,” Haley wrote.
“It was their decisions, not the president’s, that were in the best interests of America, they said. The president didn’t know what he was doing,” Haley wrote of the views the two men held.
Tillerson also told her that people would die if Trump was unchecked, Haley wrote.
Tillerson did not respond to a request for comment. Kelly declined to comment in detail, but said that if providing the president “with the best and most open, legal and ethical staffing advice from across the [government] so he could make an informed decision is ‘working against Trump,’ then guilty as charged.”
In the book, which was obtained by The Washington Post ahead of its release Tuesday, Haley offers only glancing critiques of her former boss, saying she and others who worked for Trump had an obligation to carry out his wishes since he was the one elected by voters.

Well…this just points to John Kelly being Anonymous. He wants to save the country…and help curb T.
As for Nikki Haley…she wants it both ways…appear as not insubordinate and ratting out her other colleagues…who left the WH with a shred of integrity.
She knows T is on the way out…but is not going to appear to push him.
